Game emulator called Delta uses a recent court decision regarding the Apple App Store to support its activity through a link to the membership party in Patreon. The update, approved on Wednesday to release in the American App Store, allows Delta users to join the Delta team patreon directly from the mobile application, without providing an Apple subscription.
This move is the court decision following last week, which forced Apple to fully open an American application store for external shopping, after many years of fighting Epic Games with Fortnite Maker. Although Apple largely won this antitrust lawsuit, the judge ruled that the technological giant did not act properly on the order of the court in one key area: shopping in the application.
Apple has previously checked which applications could link to their websites and added screens to scare users from making purchases via external payment mechanisms. He was still taking a commission on the sale of 27%, compared to the usual 30%.
