Slack strengthens the search with AI, adds transcription and summaries for Huddles

When the AI stove race in productivity applications intensifies, Slack strengthens the search for its application using AI, adding transcription and summary for Huddles and a way to watch a summary of channels and threads.

Using artificial intelligence, Slack now allows you to search in channels, as well as connected applications (such as Google, Salesforce and teams) to display the appropriate files and conversations. This function will be available in Slack and enterprises business plans.

The company also uses artificial intelligence to strengthen Huddles, the company's voice and video function, with transcripts and summary of connections, and the application will automatically distinguish key elements of the campaign moved in connections.

To help users catch up, Slack will offer summaries of messages in the channel or thread if you are absent.

The company said that it would introduce users to receive a summary of the profile of another user, showing their role and recent works. There are also functions on the action card that will display the elements of the action when you look at the message in question.

Slack added that it works over a function that would allow you to use artificial intelligence to explain the message in the context of a given conversation.

In the case of Canvas, a common panel that allows users to share guides, documents and information, the company plans to add an AI power assistant, which would help users create canvas from each conversation or change the formatting of existing content.

The application also receives a processing of the project – we get a unified space for all shared files, lists and elements of the canvas.
