The new pinnacle of AI intelligence from Google

Google doesn't just iterate; defines the next era of computing. Hot on the heels of groundbreaking discoveries like Quantum Echoes, the tech giant is once again in the spotlight. This time Google launched simultaneously Gemini 3, its most intelligent and efficient AI model so far, next door Google Antigravity – a pioneering agent programming platform. Together, these innovations will fundamentally change the way users interact with AI, whether they are learning complex subjects, writing code, or managing highly complex, multi-step workflows.

Building on the foundations of Gemini 1 and 2, Gemini 3 combines multimodal understanding, advanced reasoning, and agentic capabilities into one powerful model. Google describes it as advanced artificial intelligence capable of understanding text, images, video, audio and code with extraordinary nuance and depth.

Gemini 3 highlights across a range of AI benchmarks:

  • Unrivaled Reasoning Performance: Gemini 3 Pro tops the LMArena leaderboard with an Elo score of 1501 and demonstrates PhD-level reasoning in the Final Exam of Mankind (37.5%) and GPQA Diamond (91.9%).
  • Advanced Multimodal Understanding: Scored 81% on MMMU-Pro and 87.6% on Video-MMMU, with 72.1% on SimpleQA Verified for factual accuracy.
  • Improved agentic and vibration coding: Gemini 3 excels in zero-shot coding and complex web development, beating out WebDev Arena (1487 Elo) and scoring 76.2% in SWE-bench Verified, which tests a model's ability to generate code.
  • Deep Think Mode: For advanced reasoning tasks, Deep Think further boosts performance, reaching 41% in the latest Humanity exam and 93.8% in GPQA diamond.

With a context window containing 1 million tokens, Gemini 3 can analyze extensive content such as academic articles, video lectures, and even handwritten family recipes, and generate interactive visualizations, code or learning materials. It can also provide useful real-life insights, such as planning workflows, organizing inboxes, or optimizing personal routines.

Gemini 3 intelligence is immediately available to users through new, generative interfaces in Google Search and the Gemini app. These features – visual layout and dynamic view – enable AI to generate magazine-style user interfaces or interactive tools (such as simulations and web applications) on the fly, transforming static responses into interactive experiences.

In addition to Gemini 3, Google introduced Antigravity – an integrated development environment (IDE) designed based on agentic artificial intelligence. Unlike traditional development environments, Antigravity positions AI agents as active collaborators rather than passive tools. Agents can autonomously plan and execute complex software tasks across multiple platforms: editor, terminal, and browser, while informing users with artifacts that summarize progress, validation results, and actionable results.

The platform introduces two important workspaces:

  1. Editor View: The renowned synchronous IDE for hands-on coding, powered by Gemini 3.
  2. Manager View: A “mission control” dashboard that allows you to coordinate and monitor multiple agents working asynchronously on different tasks or projects, multiplying developer throughput.

The basic principles of antigravity include:

  • Trust: Agents create verifiable artifacts (task lists, screenshots, browser recordings) instead of raw tool logs, allowing developers to quickly review logic.
  • Autonomy: Agents control the editor, terminal and browser to autonomously manage multi-step workflows.
  • Feedback: Developers can provide asynchronous, inline feedback (e.g. commenting in a Google Doc) directly on an artifact or screenshot that the agent takes into account without interrupting the process.
  • Self-Improvement: The agent continuously learns from completed tasks and feedback, contributing code snippets and strategies to the knowledge base for future use.

Antigravity also integrates the Nano Banana Pro image generation modelenabling agents to seamlessly generate UI mockups, diagrams, and other visual assets as part of developer workflows.

With Gemini 3 and Antigravity, Google is moving closer to its vision of artificial general intelligence (AGI). Users can now use AI not only for learning and exploration, but also to create, automate and execute complex projects themselves.
