New audio verification possibilities
All songs generated in the Gemini app are embedded with SynthID, our invisible watermark that identifies Google AI-generated content. We are also providing more tools to help identify AI content, expanding ours verification Gemini application capabilities including sound, image and video. Just upload the file and ask if it was generated using Google AI, and Gemini will check the SynthID and return the answer based on its own reasoning.

Since we launched Lyria in 2023, we have been committed to developing the technology responsibly in partnership with the music community. We learned a lot from this collaboration and our experiments such as the Music AI Sandbox, and we were very attentive to copyright and partnership agreements during Lyria 3's training.
Generating music with Lyria 3 is designed for original expression, not imitation of existing artists. If a specific artist is included in the prompt, Gemini will take it as a broad creative inspiration and create a track with a similar style or mood. We also have filters that allow you to compare results with existing content. We realize that our approach may not be foolproof, so you can report content that may violate your rights or the rights of others. Additionally, in order to use our products, users must comply with our Terms of Service AND Gen AI Prohibited Use Policythat prohibit infringement of the intellectual property rights and privacy of others.
Lyria 3 is available on the Gemini app to all users over the age of 18 in English, German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Portuguese. The plan is to expand the quality and reach to more languages, making it available on desktop today and on the mobile app in the next few days. And Google AI Plus, Pro and Ultra subscribers will be able to enjoy higher limits.
