Empowering North American Jews: New Self-Advocacy Guide for Addressing Antisemitism in the Workplace

The fight against antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment has taken a new turn with the launch of a groundbreaking self-advocacy guide and AI tool by Career Up Now and Aish. The partnership between these two Jewish advocacy and empowerment organizations aims to provide North American Jews with the tools they need to combat discrimination in the workplace and on college campuses.

The “Self-Advocacy Guide for Addressing Workplace Antisemitism and Anti-Israel Sentiment” is a 32-page resource filled with practical strategies for Jewish professionals to navigate challenging situations, recognize their rights, and advocate for themselves effectively. The guide includes real-world scenarios and scripted responses to help individuals respond to incidents of discrimination with confidence and dignity.

In addition to the guide, users will have access to a cutting-edge AI tool that allows them to input their specific situations and receive tailored responses drawn from the guide’s content. This innovative technology ensures that Jewish professionals always have a reliable resource at their fingertips to address instances of antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment in the workplace.

Bradley Cook, executive director of Career Up Now and a direct descendant of Rabbi Yosef Caro, emphasized the importance of empowering Jewish professionals to confront hate with confidence and dignity in the face of rising antisemitism globally. The guide and AI tool were made possible through generous funding from the Suzanne Dryan Felson’s Fund, Etrog Fund #1, and the Schusterman Family Philanthropies ROI Real-Time Challenge Grant.

With the launch of this new tool, Career Up Now and Aish are taking a proactive approach to combatting discrimination and creating a safe and respectful work environment for Jewish professionals. The goal is to equip 100,000 people with these vital tools by the end of the year, in an effort to unify the Jewish community and stand up against hate.
