Co-founder of kayaks, Paul English, returns with a new undertaking-takes on a calendar. The entrepreneur launched SupercalFree planning platform that aims to increase performance and simple booking meetings.
Supercal was born of English experience with challenges related to the booking of meetings. As a member of eight directors' councils, English says that he and others often tried to coordinate schedules. Then he decided to create the E -Mail system for booking group meetings and questioning the calendar, building a similar tool that offered similar functionality, but for free.
“Instead of having a limited version of the Calendly or a paid version, which is 12 USD per month, people can get all these functions and more for free in SuperCal,” said English in an interview with TechCrunch.
Thanks to the SUPERCAL group schedule function, you can send a group of people and CC Ai Service, which reads the calendars of all, finds time that works for everyone, reserves a meeting and responds to the thread e -mail with details.
SuperCal allows you to synchronize up to six calendars, so you can keep your job, personal and other schedules in one place. It offers eight different types of meetings, including a 15-minute, 30-minute and 60-minute machines, as well as a VIP meeting type, which provides full access to the calendar in important situations.
There are also types of breakfast, lunch, coffee and dinners. In the future, these types of meetings will contain open integration of the table, which will allow you to book a meeting in a restaurant or cafe, says English.
SuperCal contains additional functions, such as preliminary context forms, automatic detection of guests time zones, reminders and preditated templates that will help you maintain organizing.

While SuperCal is free, English and team plan to expand the service with premium functions, which users can unlock via subscription, while maintaining free functions.
“One of the things that we are really interested in long -term is not only starting a meeting, but also helping to make sure your meetings are really influential,” said English.

For example, if you have configured a transcription service for meetings, SuperCal can provide feedback on how the meeting went. This may include observations, such as you said too quickly at 150 words per minute, your volume was too low or used too many filling words. The purpose of this would be to help coaches users in becoming more effective speakers at meetings.
In addition, English believes that SuperCal is able to help users limit meetings and increase their influence.
He says that in the future SuperCal will be able to increase the performance of the meetings by performing feedback on whether any actions or decisions have been taken. In addition, he will be able to identify meetings that have low participation and slight progress and suggest that they may not be necessary anymore.
SuperCal is available on the Internet. The company claims that in the future it plans to examine the IE -Mail browser plugins, as well as applications for iOS and Android.
