We intended to post this update at Google I/O in a few weeks, but given the overwhelming enthusiasm for this model, we wanted to get it in your hands sooner so people can start building.
This is based on overwhelmingly positive feedback about Gemini 2.5 Pro's multimodal encoding and inference capabilities. In addition to UI-focused programming, these improvements cover other coding tasks such as code transformation, code editing, and creating complex agent workflows.
