Collaboration between Cloudera and NVIDIA to Enhance Generative AI Capabilities through NVIDIA Microservices

Cloudera Partners with NVIDIA to Unlock the Potential of Enterprise Data with AI Enterprise and NIM Microservices

Cloudera, a leading data company for trusted enterprise AI, has announced a new collaboration with NVIDIA that will revolutionize the way organizations leverage their enterprise data. By integrating NVIDIA NIM microservices into Cloudera Machine Learning, part of the Cloudera Data Platform, Cloudera will unlock the potential of 25 exabytes of enterprise data to power generative AI workflows in production.

The integration of NVIDIA NIM microservices will enable developers to link AI models to their business data, including text, images, and visualizations, to generate highly accurate and contextually relevant responses. This will allow organizations to deploy applications through NVIDIA AI Enterprise, providing optimized runtimes for building, customizing, and deploying enterprise-grade large language models (LLMs).

Cloudera will introduce multiple integrations with NVIDIA microservices, including model and application serving to boost model inference performance and NVIDIA NeMo Retriever microservices to simplify the connection of custom LLMs to enterprise data. These integrations will streamline end-to-end hybrid AI pipelines, enabling organizations to build, customize, and deploy LLMs for transformative generative AI applications.

The collaboration between Cloudera and NVIDIA will empower enterprises to make more accurate and timely decisions, while mitigating inaccuracies, hallucinations, and errors in predictions. This will help organizations navigate today’s data landscape more effectively and drive business transformation through the power of generative AI.

According to Priyank Patel, Vice President of AI/ML Products at Cloudera, “Cloudera is integrating NVIDIA NIM and CUDA-X microservices to power Cloudera Machine Learning, helping customers turn AI hype into business reality.” Justin Boitano, Vice President of Enterprise Products at NVIDIA, added, “Enterprises are eager to leverage their massive volumes of data for generative AI to build custom copilots and productivity tools. The integration of NVIDIA NIM microservices into the Cloudera Data Platform offers developers a way to more easily and flexibly deploy LLMs to drive business transformation.”

Overall, this collaboration between Cloudera and NVIDIA represents a significant step forward in unlocking the potential of enterprise data for generative AI applications. Organizations across industries will benefit from faster, more intuitive AI processes that maximize time-to-business value and drive revenue generation while optimizing costs.
