Google is testing the coding application called OPAL

AI coding tools have become so popular in the last few months that almost every main technology company or uses one or creating its own. The creators of these so -called “coding coding” tools are currently a hot commodity, with startups such as Lovable and the cursor, who are repelling the buyers and investors to touch the hot trend.

Google is now becoming the latest one that has jumped on this fashionnegon: the company is testing a coding coding tool OpalAvailable for users in the USA via Google Labs, which the company uses as a base for experimenting with new technology.

Opal allows you to create mini internet applications using text prompts or you can remix existing applications available in the gallery. All users have to do this, then introduce a description of the application they want to do, and then the tool will use various Google models.

When the application is ready, you can navigate to the editor panel to see the visual flow of input, output and generation work. You can click any step of work flow to look at the prompt that determines the process and edit it if necessary. You can also manually add steps from the OPAL toolbar.

Opal also allows users to publish a new application on the Internet and share the link to others to test with their own Google accounts.

Google For learning It already allows programmers to create applications using prompts, but the visual flow of Opal's work indicates that the company probably wants to direct a wider audience.

The company joins the long list of competitors, including Canva, Figma and Replit, who create tools encouraging non -technical people to create application prototypes without coding.
