In partnership with Unstructured.io, DataStax is also enabling enterprises and developers to make their data RAG-ready. This collaboration simplifies data ingestion and chunking across various data types, such as PDFs, Salesforce, and Google Drive, making it easier to use in AI applications. The integration allows for lightning-fast data ingestion and conversion of large datasets into vector data, which can then be written to Astra DB for genAI similarity searches.

Furthermore, DataStax has introduced Vectorise, a new feature that simplifies vector generation by allowing developers to choose an embedding service, configure it with Astra DB, and start building right away. This server-side embedding pattern eliminates the need for developers to learn multiple APIs, as they can now access the top embedding providers and compare results with just one API configuration.

The RAGStack 1.0 release brings together the best of open source and the latest techniques required for enterprise genAI applications. With features like Langflow in RAGStack, Knowledge Graph RAG, ColBERT with Astra DB, Text2SQL/Text2CQL, and Vectorise in RAGStack and LangChain, developers can streamline RAG implementation at enterprise scale.
