Snapchat launches a new lens that allows users to create and edit images using the AI text generator for the image, the company said only TechCrunch. The new “Imagine lenses” is available for Snapchat+ Platinum and Lens+ subscribers.
Imagine that the lens allows users to create, edit and play Snaps by introducing their own hints. Then they can share the image with friends, publish it to their history or share it outside Snapchat.
While Snapchat already has numerous AI generative lenses, the company notices that the Imagine lens is its first open fast lens of image generation.
Users can generate images using non -standard prompts, such as “Create a picture of a grumpy cat” or “Change me into an alien”. The lens also contains pre -loaded hints, from which people can use, such as “change me into a comic from four to five panels, in which something unexpected, but heroic”, “Make Me Inth a Funny Karykature” and “Make that parachute person” happens.
Snapchat notes that users can always touch the signature belt to edit a prompt for everything they like.
At the beginning of this year, SNAP presented a model of text research for AI image for mobile devices, which, as he said, would supply some Snapchat functions in the future. Although Snap has not confirmed whether this model powered the new lens, he noticed that its lenses are built using the combination of both internal models and the AI models leading in the industry.
Snapchat+ platinum and lenses+ subscribers can find a new lens at the front of the lens carousel or in the exclusive category. After selecting the lens, they can touch the signature to enter or edit the prompt. Platinum subscription costs USD 15.99 per month, while the lens+ subscription costs USD 8.99 per month.
