Zuckerberg: AI increased the time spent on Facebook and Instagram in Q2

Mark Zuckerberg, meta director, assigned AI to raise the time of users spent on the company's applications in the second quarter. While consumers are increasingly complaining about the dissemination of “AI Slop”-a lub of low-quality content generated by AI social applications-Meta claims that AI systems are increasingly better in combining with the recommended content.

“AI significantly improves our ability to show the content of people that they consider it interesting and useful,” Zuckerberg told investors in Q2 Farming. “The progress in our recommendations systems improved the quality so much that it led to a 5% increase in the time spent on Facebook and 6% on Instagram in this quarter.”

In general, the finish estimated that over 3.4 billion people used one of the “application family” – which is Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and/or WhatsApp – every day in June.
